At First Church Love, we’re more than a place to attend, we’re a family learning to follow Jesus together.
We are people from different backgrounds and walks of life who are growing in faith, worshiping God with sincerity, and learning how to love others the way Jesus loves us. Whether you’re brand new to church, returning after time away, or searching for a church that feels like home, you are welcome here.
What we believe
Our faith is centered on Jesus Christ and grounded in the Bible.
We believe the Bible is true and trustworthy. It shows us who God is, who we are, and how we can live the life God designed for us. We believe there is one God. That one God revealed Himself as our Creator, came to us as Jesus Christ to save us, and now lives in us through His Holy Spirit. Jesus isn’t just a good teacher, He is God with us. We believe everyone needs grace. All of us fall short at times. Sin separates us from God, but Jesus came to make a way back through forgiveness, healing, and a fresh start. We believe following Jesus brings real change. The Bible teaches that this new life begins when we turn away from sin and turn toward God, when we are baptized in water in the name of Jesus and when we receive the Holy Spirit, who empowers us to live a transformed life. We believe this is about a relationship with Jesus that changes us from the inside out.
Our heart for people
We worship God with our whole hearts, through prayer, music, praise, all of our mind, soul and strength because God deserves more than routine or formality. We also believe faith should shape how we live:
- How we treat people
- How we speak and act
- How we pursue holiness inwardly and outwardly
We don’t strive to live differently to earn God’s love, we live differently because we love Him and He loves us.

Yes, plenty of street parking and a gravel lot across the street.

We don’t have childcare during service, but both children and youth ministries have Sunday school classes at 11 AM.

No dress code at all. Some dress up and some dress casual. Come as you are.
